• Rotem Hess MA, Psychotherapist and Lifecoach

I am a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with extensive intercultural experience working with expats from all over the world. In therapy, I create therapeutic relationships that promote understanding and playfulness that lead to change and growth. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is especially suited to treat difficulties in relationships, anxieties, mood swings, low self-esteem among others. I am a member of the Austrian Association for Group Therapy and Group Dynamic. I work from my online practice in Austria.

    My Approach

I believe that the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our psychological well-being, and the first relationship that we need to cultivate is with ourselves. Using techniques from several psychodynamic therapies such as psychoanalysis, interpretation of dreams, EMDR, Mindfulness, and interpersonal approaches to identify the strengths, values and sense of self you need to move through life with a sense of freedom and purpose.

As an English speaking psychotherapist, I can help

Millions of people suffer from psychological difficulties and challenges. The amount of affected people has increased constantly in the past years. But while physically diseased people are looking for help without any social barrier, a lot of people are trying to solve their psychological problems on their own or, even worse, they are trying to hide and downplay them. But repression is not a solution. As an English speaking psychotherapist, I am happy to accompany you with my knowledge and experience. My goal is to strengthen your self-confidence and to support you on your way to find a healthy inner balance.

Psychological difficulties should not be neglected

It is important that psychological problems get a professional help in time to prevent them from growing bigger and affecting your entire life. A lot of people who decide to contact me as an English speaking psychotherapist are not sure, whether I can really help them. I am aware of this. This is why I recommend to start with an initial consultation: this will enable both of us to see firsthand whether working together could be a good idea.
